Augsburg's Michael Parkhurst will have to wait for a potential move to Italian club Lazio.
The 29-year old American defender emerged as a target for the Roman outfit late in the European transfer window but MLSsoccer.com reports that there was a minor transfer on deadline day on Monday.
Parkhurst only joined German side Augsburg from Denmark's Nordsjaelland in December 2012 but will now have to bide his time until the winter transfer window in order to gain a possible shift to Lazio provided they show interest again.
