Augsburg chief Stefan Reuter has described Abdul Rahman Baba's move to Chelsea as an "insane" opportunity.

The Ghana fullback completed his big money switch yesterday afternoon.

Reuter admits Augsburg couldn't stand in Baba's way once Chelsea made their interest concrete.

"This is an insane step for the boy," said Reuter, talking to Kicker.

"We are happy for him. Although we lose a great player with a great character. But the change shows how well players can develop with FCA.

"We are very proud, it's an honor."

Reuter added: "He has made enormous progress and now makes a big jump."
