Augsburg chief opens door to sale for Man City, Man Utd target Philipp Max

FC Augsburg chief Steffen Reuter admits they're prepared to listen to offers for Philipp Max.

The left-back was watched by Manchester City scouts last week, while he has also been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United this month.

Reuter, aware of the growing interest, could not shut the door on negotiating Max's sale.

"Nothing is planned," he began.

"If a player comes up to us and has an interesting offer, we have always said, we are ready to talk. If we all think it makes sense, then it can come to that.

"But if a side arrives and we have a bad gut feeling, we let it go."
