Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero had a dig at city rivals Real Madrid after their Champions League elimination on Wednesday night.

"It was another game, sad for them, but that's football," said the Argentina international. "Certainly, the result will make Atletico fans happy - and me also!"

Aguero says his performance in last year's U20 World Cup in Canada set him up for a big season in Spain.

"The U20 World Cup was key, because I thought: 'If I can do it with Argentina, why not here?'"
