Atletico Mineiro midfielder Richarlyson is a target for Blackburn Rovers.
The People says manager Steve Kean is being encouraged to sign the 29-year-old defensive midfielder, who is available on a cheap deal from Atletico Mineiro, by influential transfer fixer Joao Suazo.
Richarlyson was capped twice by Brazil four seasons ago and played against a Republic of Ireland team that lost 1-0 to a second-half Robinho goal.
