Atletico Madrid's Sinama-Pongolle has no Liverpool regrets

Atletico Madrid striker Florent Sinama-Pongolle has no regrets leaving Liverpool. “Leaving Liverpool for (Recreativo) Huelva was risky,” Sinama told France-Football. “People who say they believed in me are just hypocrites. “I even still feel people see me as a 17-year-old kid educated at Le Havre who made a mistake by joining Liverpool. It was seven years ago and wasn’t a mistake. “I am La Liga’s second top goalscorer behind David Villa. They [the fans and the Spanish press] speak about me every day.”
