Atletico Madrid's Forlan explains why Man Utd didn't work out
Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan says there's a simple reason for his lack of goals at Manchester United.
Forlan scored 10 league goals in 63 appearances and took 27 games to get the first of them.
“It’s a simple answer,” he replied. “I didn’t play enough.” Most of those outings, he would point out, were as a late substitute. “I had too little time to show what I could do. But the fans were always good to me and I appreciated that.”

He came from Uraguay, he made the Scousers Cry!!
Forlan is a very good striker the main reason he was not successed was the game in UK is different with the game in Soouth America, required more time for a player adapt the system football in UK, same as Veron.
I wish if he had stayed more time at Old trafford he could have been a major player for Man United.
it's very difficult during that time because of the great van Nistelrooy...
