Atletico Madrid midfielder Costinha endured a fiery training session yesterday.

The Portugal international, who has been linked with Benfica, traded blows with teammate Jacobo Ynclan after the youngster confronted him over a bad tackle. The pair had to be separated by teammates, says AS, with Costinha also becoming embroiled in a bust-up with Diego Costa.

Later, around 50 Atletico fans booed Costinha as he walked towards the dressing room and the midfielder is reported to have verbally hit back. The fans' group were mainly made of parents of players, with several from the club's C team taking part in the training session.

Costinha is expected to be hit by a club fine for his actions.
