Atletico Madrid have warned Manchester City off defender Jose Gimenez.
The Mirror says Atletico claim they have turned down an offer from City for defender Gimenez.
Premier League champions City have also been sounded out about Atletico's Brazilian defender Joao Miranda, who has been linked with Manchester United.
