Atletico Madrid want to sign permanently on-loan AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati.
Abbiati has spent this season on-loan at Atletico and it's understood he's done enough to convince management to seek an outright deal for the experienced No1.
In the last three seasons, Abbiati has spent time on-loan at Atletico, Torino and Juventus.
