Atletico Madrid are chasing Malaga midfielder Manuel Iturra.

Off contract in June, Iturra has been linked with a Bosman move to Liverpool.

However, the experienced Chile international is also a target for Atletico, where coach Diego Simeone feels his defensive ability would complement his midfield options.
