Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan is again in the sights of Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez.

Benitez admitted yesterday he needs up to five top class players to transform Liverpool into title challengers.

The Mail on Sunday says Forlan, who will face Liverpool in the Europa League, and Spain forward David Silva of Valencia are among Benitez's targets.

Forlan signed a new deal with Atletico earlier this season, however, he was linked with a move away in the Madrid press this past week.
