Atletico Madrid striker Forlan: Aguirre wasn't biggest problem
Diego Forlan says Atletico Madrid's players must take responsibility for the sacking of coach Javier Aguirre yesterday.
Forlan said: "The squad is hurting after the departure of Aguirre. It is an ugly and uncomfortable situation for everyone. We are also to blame for the bad streak .
"The dismissal of Javier was the easiest option, but he was not the biggest problem. We are the ones who play, those who have to take this club forward. We've not played well and are making many mistakes.
"I feel guilty for Aguirre's goodbye, we all do."
