Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero is a father.

Benjamin Aguero Maradona has been born into football royalty after the striker's girlfriend, Gianina Maradona gave birth yesterday. Both Aguero and Diego Maradona were in attendance at the Madrid hospital for the arrival of Benjamin.

A spokesperson for the hospital said Benjamin and Gianina were in perfect health, despite being seven-hours in labour.
