Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero has given permission to his agents to negotiate terms with Manchester City.
AS says Aguero met with his agent, Hernan Reguera, in Buenos Aires over the weekend and gave his approval to a move to City.
Negotiations have since intensified and Atletico GM Miguel Angel Gil Marin met with City officials yesterday in Los Angeles to discuss Aguero's price.
The striker is excited about City's ambitions and now has dropped all thoughts of moving to Real Madrid.
