Atletico Madrid superstar Radamel Falcao could've been running around for Aston Villa.

The Daily Mail says Chelsea could have bought him from FC Porto for £25m two years ago when Andre Villas-Boas left the Portuguese club for Stamford Bridge but it didn't happen. Aston Villa actually tried for him as well a couple of years before that when he was at River Plate in Argentina.

The Colombia striker went to Atletico Madrid instead of Chelsea and his release clause has pushed the price significantly higher.
