Atletico Madrid face competition from three Premier League clubs for the signing of Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour.

According to Spanish publication AS, Atletico have joined the race for the £12.5million-rated Abdennour who is also being watched by Liverpool, Newcastle United and West Ham United.

Atleti are keen on Abdennour, who is open to a move away from the Stade Louis II, but will need to beat the English trio who have been linked with the Tunisia international for some weeks.
