Atletico Madrid have moved to trump Espanyol for striker Pablo Osvaldo.
The Italy U21 international is playing on-loan at Espanyol this season from Bologna. The Barcelona club have an option to make Osvaldo's stay permanent.
However, TMW says Atletico have made contact with Bologna to register their interest and are willing to offer €5 million to sign the 21 year-old.
