Atletico Madrid are eyeing Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
Atletico are aware they can secure Huntelaar to a pre-contract agreement from January 1, as he comes off contract in June.
Huntelaar is being considered at Atletico as a replacement for Chelsea and Manchester City target Radamel Falcao.
