Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta is being tracked by Atletico Madrid.
Atletico sports director Jesus Garcia Pitarch has been active in the German transfer market this week and registered their interest with Bayer yesterday.
Switzerland international Barnetta is also attracting interest from Roma, but Bayer sports chief Rudi Voeller is determined to hang onto the youngster.
