Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is proud of his players after reaching the Champions League final.

Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has called Atletico's style 'ugly' - something Cerezo dismissed.

"Ugly? Our football is brilliant and we play to win, we're in a very envious situation now," said Cerezo, who suggested that jealousy could have been the motivation behind the criticism of Atletico's determined style.

"The players are ready and have incredible desire.

"We were desperate to get to Milan and now we're there, in La Liga we're very hungry and up there too."
