Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo says he's shocked by Theo Hernandez's decision to leave for Real Madrid.

Atletico and Real have thrashed out a fee for the young fullback, with the move to be formally confirmed next week.

This week, while on holiday, Theo declared playing for Real had "always been a childhood dream" - words which have upset many Atleti fans.

"I had no idea, everyone has their dreams," Cerezo.

However, the president added: "He's a great player, although he has not played a lot with us."
