Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has dismissed claims of the club being in crisis.

Despite sitting nine points behind Real Madrid in the league, Cerezo believes his side are still very much in it.

"Atletico in crisis? We are in a fantastic situation," the president said. "This isn't the end of an era or anything like that.

"Neither the players, coaches, supporters, club... none of them are in crisis.

"We always go out to win and will continue to do so- sometimes results are better than at other times."
