Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is delighted with the squad they're assembled this summer.

Kevin Gameiro and Nicolas Gaitan have arrived from Sevilla and Benfica respectively.

"It's a hell of a team," Cerezo told Marca.

"I honestly think it's our best squad in many years. The dressing room is full of great players, great professionals and great people oozing with desire to win.

"Always following El Cholo's [coach Diego Simeone] advice, we tried to sign assets to improve our weaker areas. There won't be new acquisitions beyond our budget, basically because LFP [Professional Football League] will not allow us to spend more."
