Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo insists Sergio Aguero is not for sale.

Reacting to reports suggesting there is a growing feeling within the boardroom that the time is right to cash in on Aguero, Cerezo was adamant.

"We have a contract with Aguero, we want him to remain here. No one has spoken with us and the day that someone asks for a meeting, I will not hide it. So we do not sell," said Cerezo.

Aguero hasn't finished a game under new Atletico coach Abel Resino, but Cerezo added: "It's a manufactured controversy that does not exist. There is no problem between coach and player."
