After the weekend's defeat to struggling Real Zaragoza, Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo insists coach Javier Aguirre's job remains safe.

"We are delighted with him. I will defend him to the death until June 30," said Cerezo, who then went on to discuss Argentine starlet Sergio Aguero.

"He has already proved himself to be one the best strikers for Atletico in the last decade."
