Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo admits they need a major cash injection to compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Atletico meet Real Madrid in the Champions League next week.

"We are in a good moment, but we need to find us more money to make more investments, so getting in the Champions League is important and that is what will make us grow," said Cerezo.

"Jumping to the semifinal is key and we are very focused on that key. It will be very difficult against Real Madrid, it would be an incredible success to continue in the competition."
