Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is in awe of Radamel Falcao after his five goals on the weekend.

The Colombian struck a stunning five in their 6-0 thumping of Deportivo La Coruna.

Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are all among Falcao's admirers, but Atletico will be keen to keep him until of the current campaign, at least.

"He is the best striker in the world," Cerezo said.

"It is the first time I have seen one of our players score five. I remember Christian Vieri or Milinko Pantic scoring four, but not five.

"At the current time he is by far the best forward in world football."
