Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo insists coach Javier Aguirre's job is safe.

He said: "There are no doubts here. After only three games, we would be crazy to do otherwise.

"We trust Aguirre and though the press and fans are looking for someone to make guilty, they'll find no-one here. We all want that first win and when it comes everything will be calmer.

"We have only two points, that's clear, but the way we have played shows that we could have won any of the three games so far."

On Diego Forlan, Cerezo added: "He doesn't concern me because he is a great player and will soon start scoring."
