Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is confident securing Diego Godin to a new deal.

The 32-year-old's deal ends at the end of the season and from January, he would be able to talk to other clubs.

"There's no need to worry," Cerezo said about the Uruguayan's renewal.

"Everything will be sorted.

"Have I talked to him? You always need to talk with every player every minute and every hour."
