Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has confirmed talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

A cousin of the released Manchester United striker revealed this week that Atletico had sounded out the Swede about a move to Madrid.

And Cerezo confirmed as much yesterday, revealing: "Maybe we talked to his family, but not with him.

"We're on another line."

Ibrahimovic is currently recovering from knee surgery and is continuing his rehab at United's Carrington complex.
