There is a growing feeling inside Atletico Madrid that the time is right to cash in on Sergio Aguero. Aguero is furious after he was hooked against Porto this week by new coach Abel Resino and is convinced his game has stalled in the last 12 months.

Atletico chief Emilio Gutierrez met with the father of Aguero yesterday and AS says there is a section of the board convinced now is the right time to sell the young Argentine.

Manchester City, Chelsea and Inter Milan are heading a queue of clubs keen to take the striker off Atletico's hands.
