Atletico Madrid are preparing to sell Chelsea and Manchester United target Sergio Aguero.

The Daily Mail says the Barclays Premier League giants both probed the Argentina striker last summer and there is a growing expectation that Atleti will not be able to resist renewed attempts to prise him from the Vicente Calderon stadium.

Chelsea came close to a £45million British record move for the 21-year-old - about £10m short of a bid that would meet the release clause written into his contract.

Aguero has indicated he would be willing to leave in the summer if his debt-laden club needed to cash in, with Barcelona and Real Madrid also tracking developments.
