Atletico Madrid are monitoring Anthony Martial's situation at Manchester United.

On the day it emerged United plan to offer Martial a new five-year contract, AS reports Atletico are watching developments closely.

A bid before Friday's transfer deadline cannot be ruled out, though a move in January is more realistic.

Indeed, if Martial rejects United's proposal it will open the door to Atletico moving to secure the France attacker to a pre-contract agreement.
