Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez is happy to duck Barcelona transfer talk while in Poland.

Saul is preparing with Spain for tonight's U21 Euros semi against Italy amid reports linking him with Barca.

The midfielder is being viewed as an alternative to prime Barca transfer target Marco Verratti, of PSG.

Asked about the situation, Saul shrugged: "The rumours? Nothing happened to me.

"Anyway, if I have to do something, it will be after the U21 European Championship, I'm focused on this competition."
