Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke admitted some relief after their 2-0 win over Getafe.

Atleti have struggled in LaLiga Santander this season and have just eight points from five matches so far.

"The big positive is the result," he said after the match.

"We had good phases and bad phases too when we lost the ball a lot.

"The important thing was to get three points here because Getafe have a good team."

Koke admits that Atleti's poor start has come as a surprise but now with two consecutive wins under their belt they're looking to kick on.

"After winning the [European Super Cup] final, it [the start] was not expected," he said.

"Expectations were high, we are still working and the results are going to come.

"We won in the Champions League the other day, we've won again, and we are going to continue working."
