Atletico Madrid midfielder Diego Ribas has been offered to Arsenal.

The Daily Mail says the Brazilian playmaker is out of contract this summer and will have the choice of several top clubs in Europe.

He is not Arsenal's priority but could prove a very useful squad player if Arsene Wenger pursues the deal.

Diego has a concrete offer from former club Santos in Brazil.
