Cardiff City striker Jay Bothroyd is a Bosman target for Spanish Liga clubs.

Sky Sports News says Malaga and Atletico Madrid are interested in the England cap.

Bothroyd has previous experience on the continent with Italy's Perugia.

Atletico and Malaga are both exploring the possibility of agreeing a pre-contract with Bothroyd next month with a view to the forward joining on a free transfer next summer.
