Atletico Madrid have moved for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Afellay.
The Holland international revealed he turned down offers from Hamburg and Everton over the summer.
Voetbal International says Atletico have made contact with Rob Jansen, Afellay's agent, to register their interest and discuss the prospect of a move to Madrid for his client.
