Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is a target for Atletico Madrid.

Soccer Link of France reports Gunners boss Mikel Arteta will seek to sell Lacazette in order to fund his own summer transfer plans.

Atletico are already in contact and discussing a fee with Arsenal for Lacazette - with claims negotiations are "progressing well".

Lacazette was high on their wish-list in January, but the club instead focused their efforts on an eventually fruitless chase for Edinson Cavani.

In this season's LaLiga, Atletico have the second-worst goal tally of the teams in the top half of the table with 31 in 27 matches.
