Atletico Madrid fans turned on coach Diego Simeone during their 1-1 draw with Eibar.

The crowd whistled at Simeone after he replaced Rodrigo for youngster Borja Garces - the first time this has been seen.

In fact, even the midfielder himself was surprised when coming off the field.

"People come to the stadium and are very impulsive," he admitted in the post-match conference.

"They see he is doing well, however, the coach who works with these players every day believes he has to put in more attack to win the game.

"I put in a striker and that player went on to score the equaliser."
