Atletico Madrid face a battle to prise Eduardo Salvio away from Lanus.
The young Argentine is a £12 million target for Atletico sports chief Jesus Garcia Pitarch, who returned from a South American scouting trip last season raving about the attacking midfielder.
For his part, Salvio is reluctant to leave Lanus this summer, while Buenos Aries sources say Manchester United, Chelsea, Porto and Liverpool are all keen on the player.
