Chelsea have not shelved their interest in Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin.

Spanish sources say Chelsea are still tracking the Uruguay international, who attracted a firm offer from the Blues last January.

Despite a change of manager, Chelsea are keeping tabs on Godin and Atletico have learned through intermediaries that a new offer for the coming winter market could be tabled.
