Quique Sanchez Flores is battling to save his job at Atletico Madrid.
Atletico have struggled to recapture the success of last season and radio Cadena Ser says the board is already drawing up plans to replace coach Sanchez Flores.
Two early candidates have been mooted: Espanyol boss Mauricio Pochettino and Athletic Bilbao's Joaquin Caparros.
Argentine Pochettino is an early favourite thanks to his focus on the youth system at Espanyol.
