Atletico Madrid have said they are determined to hold onto striker Sergio Aguero and deny Premier League clubs the chance to sign him.

The Argentina international has been a target for English clubs Manchester United and Chelsea in recent times but president Enrique Cerezo is keen to keep the 22-year old at the Vicente Calderon.

"We have no intention of selling our players," he told Spanish media. "Aguero is very happy at Atletico and in Madrid and as far as I am aware, he has no offers."
