Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is confident of keeping hold of striker Diego Forlan. The Uruguay international is threatening to clinch the Spanish Golden Boot ahead of Barcelona star Samuel Eto'o and is under consideration at the Nou Camp as a replacement for the contract rebel. Tottenham and Sunderland are also keen to bring the former Manchester United forward to England.

However, Cerezo says of Forlan: "I believe his buyout clause of £32 million is enough and he will not leave."

"Here I am happy with my life," chimed in Forlan at a media conference yesterday.
