Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is happy to complete the signing of Chelsea striker Diego Costa.

AS says a deal is virtually done between the two clubs, though Simeone is insisting Costa find a loan move for the first-half of the season.

Atletico cannot register the striker until January 1 due to a transfer ban for this summer's window.

Simeone is insisting Costa not sit out the first six months of the campaign and instead find a short-term deal elsewhere before joining them in the New Year.

Atletico and Chelsea are expected to close an agreement before August 1.
