The French attacker is being linked with Barcelona this week as a replacement for Neymar.

But Simeone shrugged: “It's pleasing that the best clubs want our players."

On signing Chelsea striker Diego Costa, Simeone was just as enigmatic.

“He isn't our player, he is Chelsea's. We talk about those who will start the season with us, those are the important ones to us."
