Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is unhappy Antoine Griezmann and Diego Godin were overlooked for the Ballon d'Or nominations list.

Simeone made the shortlist for FIFA's Coach of the Year award.

But he said: "The place where I am is thanks to the players, thanks to the team because without them coaches cannot convey what we want. It depends on the collective.

"That Godín nor Griezmann are not on the list is unfair. The season of Griezmann is extraordinary, and he has begun at a high level. And what about Godin?
