Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone celebrated their 7-0 thrashing of Getafe by again branding the Spanish Liga as "boring".
On a weekend that also saw Real Madrid and Barcelona run up cricket scores, Simeone took no pleasure from Atletico's performance.
"I remain convinced that the La Liga is boring. There's few chances for any teams other than Madrid or Barcelona," lamented Simeone.
"I look back at what happened in the last decade. It does not compare.
"Today, the reality is that Getafe was left with one man less early on and could not be strong against a team a man greater.
"This does not make us believe more of what we are."
